24: Live Another Day, parfois appelé Saison 9 ou Jour 9 , est une série événement de 12 épisodes de la série 24 heures chrono. Quatre ans après les événements de la saison 8, la série couvre toujours les événements d'un seul jour à chaque épisode correspondant à une heure, mais il y aura des sauts en avant dans le temps .

24: Live Another Day commence et se termine à 11:00 GTM (11h00/23h00), 4 ans après la saison 8 et environ 18 ans 1/2 après la saison 1.

La série a débuté sur la Fox US avec deux épisodes le lundi 5 mai 2014. Et en quasi simultané sur Canal+ en France dans la nuit du 5 au 6 mai  en vostfr.

24: Live Another Day, sometimes referred to as Season 9 or Day 9 of 24, is a twelve-episode 2014 event series. Set four years after the events of Season 8, the series loosely adheres to the real time concept; while it still covers the events of a single day with each episode corresponding to an hour, there are jumps forward in time.
24: Live Another Day begins and ends at 11:00am GMT, four years after Day 8 and approximately eighteen and a half years after Day 1.
The series debuted on Fox with a two-hour event at 8/7c on Monday, May 5, 2014. And in France almost simultaneously (on Canal+) at night from 5 till 6 May.

Quatre ans après avoir fui les autorités américaines et russes à la fin du Jour 8, Jack Bauer réapparaît à Londres, en Angleterre pour empêcher un assassinat contre le Président James Heller, en visite dans la capitale. Les auteurs, dirigés par une femme vengeresse , parviennent à accéder aux commandes de drones militaires américains et menacent de retourner les armes contre leurs propriétaires en représailles symbolique. Four years after fleeing from the U.S. and Russian authorities at the end of Day 8, Jack Bauer reappears in London, England to prevent an assassination against visiting President James Heller. 	Four years after his disappearance, the CIA captures the fugitive Jack Bauer in London, England, but one agent suspects that he may have a hidden agenda. President James Heller prepares for a critical summit with the British Prime Minister. 	After escaping from the CIA, Jack tracks Chloe O'Brian back to her new family's hideout and reveals his objective in London. To placate the British, President Heller orders the interrogation of the drone pilot supposedly behind the attack in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the real culprit completes work on a device that will grant its buyer control over several more drones. Après s'être échappé de la CIA, Jack suit Chloe O'Brian de retour vers son repère et ses nouveaux amis  et révèle son objectif à Londres. Pour apaiser les Britanniques, le Président Heller ordonne l'interrogatoire du pilote de drone soi-disant derrière l'attaque en Afghanistan. Pendant ce temps, le vrai coupable continue de travailler sur un dispositif qui donnera le contrôle à  l'acheteur de plusieurs autres drones.

	Kate Morgan continues her hunt for Jack, as President Heller prepares to address Parliament after a devastating attack. Margot Al-Harazi proves she is willing to sacrifice anything for revenge. Margot Al-Harazi prouve qu'elle est prête à tout sacrifier pour se venger.

	The terror threat escalates as Jack heads for the U.S. Embassy with the CIA closing in on him. Meanwhile, Margot asserts her authority with unthinkable force; President Heller makes an impassioned speech to Parliament; and Kate takes matters into her own hands. La menace terroriste s'intensifie tandis que  Jack se dirige vers l'ambassade avec la CIA à ses trousses. 	Agent Kate Morgan has to collaborate with Chloe O'Brian to try to locate Margot Al-Harazi, and prevent her attack. Meanwhile, Jack Bauer is taken to President James Heller for questioning, where he also reunites with Audrey. Heller orders a military lockdown on all drones, while Agents Navarro and Ritter lead an assault against Margot's suspected base of operations. 	As the smoke clears after the devastating events of the first five hours, tensions between President Heller and Prime Minister Davies boil over, and one of them decides to take matters into his own hands. In the meantime, Jack proposes a plan to locate Margot by using someone unexpected as his unsuspecting bait. Back at the CIA in London, Jordan raises suspicions about Kate’s husband. - Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer – An ex-CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) agent who is extremely proficient and experienced in tactical field operations and highly successful in obtaining results. As Jack continues to be largely responsible for the prevention of multiple terrorist attacks in the United States and abroad, he suffers great personal expense and is deeply affected by the actions he takes. These actions include frequent use of torture and killings, often because of betrayals that resulted in the targeting of people close to Jack.

She is now involved with the free information movement, working alongside Adrian Cross, who is now her boyfriend after Morris O'Brian and their child, Prescott, were killed in a car accident.

- William Devane as President James Heller – Served as Secretary of Defense of the United States and is also Audrey's father. When last seen, Heller convinced Jack to leave Audrey alone after he saw him as a threat to her well-being. He has shown signs of Alzheimer's disease.^[29] (7 episodes)

It aired on Canal+ in France with a 40 minute delay with the US.
